From Stone Town
Savanna & Ocean Hotel is located in the northern part of the village Paje on the east coast of Zanzibar. We are placed next to Zanzibar Adventure School and behind the well-known Paje Ndame Village. Grab a taxi from anywhere in Stone Town, and ask the driver to go to Paje. The drive takes about 1 hour and should never cost you more than 40-60 $. Or take a Dalla Dalla from the bus station on Creek Road close to the big market. You can take a Dalla towards Bwejuu or Michamvi (neighbouring villages to Paje). The trip will not exceed 3000 TSH and takes about 1-2 hours.

There are many ways of getting to Zanzibar from Europe. Ethiopian Airlines, KLM, British Airlines and Turkish Airlines are just some of the airlines you can use. Often it’s cheaper to fly in and out of Dar es Salaam, and then go with the fast ferry between Zanzibar and mainland. But this of course depends on both time and convenience.
